Job Title: Divisional Manager – Facilities Management

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Divisional Manager – Facilities Management to lead and oversee all facilities-related operations across multiple sites. The role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, compliance, and high service standards across the division. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proven ability to manage large-scale facilities portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement divisional strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across facilities management services.
  • Establish KPIs and monitor performance against service level agreements (SLAs).

2. Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day facilities operations including maintenance, MEP systems.
  • Ensure all facilities are maintained to high standards of safety, functionality, and appearance.
  • Manage vendor performance and service delivery across multiple contracts.

3. Financial Management

  • Prepare and manage divisional budgets, forecasts, and cost-control measures.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiencies.
  • Monitor expenditures and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Estimation management

4. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies.
  • Implement risk management strategies and emergency response plans.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure operational compliance.

5. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal departments.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients and ensure satisfaction.
  • Address escalations and resolve issues in a timely manner.

6. Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of facilities managers and operational staff.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous learning.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support career development initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputed universities. UPDA grade should be “A”
  • Minimum 15–20 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, maintenance practices, and FM technologies.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-site operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., IFM, CFM, or equivalent) are an advantage.

Pay: QAR17,000.00 - QAR20,000.00 per month
