Divisional Manager/Head -Polymer Resin (LDPE/HDPE)

Position: Business Head – Polymer Resins (LDPE / HDPE) – Pakistan

Mandate

We are launching and scaling a dedicated polymer trading and distribution vertical in Pakistan and are looking to hire a high-calibre industry professional to lead this business.

The role will drive sales of LDPE and HDPE, with full responsibility for market development, customer acquisition, and commercial performance.

Role Overview

This is not a routine sales role. The selected candidate will:

- Build a profitable polymer business vertical from the ground up

- Leverage existing regional supply chain (Middle East sourcing + Pakistan distribution)

- Develop direct relationships with leading converters across Pakistan

- Drive both import trading and local warehouse-based sales

Key Responsibilities

- Own full P&L for polymer resin sales in Pakistan

- Develop and execute aggressive sales strategy across LDPE / HDPE

- Build and manage a strong portfolio of converter customers

- Structure commercial deals (LC / DP / CAD / credit) aligned with market realities

- Lead pricing strategy based on international benchmarks and local demand

- Ensure strict discipline on receivables, credit exposure, and risk

- Coordinate closely with regional supply teams for volume allocation and logistics

Who We Are Looking For

- 10+ years of hands-on polymer sales/trading experience in Pakistan

- Proven ability to handle significant volumes and key accounts

- Deep relationships with:

- Film manufacturers

- Injection & blow molding companies

- Pipe producers

- Strong understanding of PKR-based selling, landed costing, and margin management

- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build and scale business

Preferred Background

Experience with producers/distributors such as SABIC, Borouge, ExxonMobil, Reliance Industries or leading regional traders.
