Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Django Developer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and scaling backend systems using Django while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using Python and Django
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications
• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
• Integrate third-party services and external APIs
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing components
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with Django
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience with Django REST Framework (DRF)
• Good understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL)
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Ability to write efficient, reusable, and testable code

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Docker and containerization
• Familiarity with Celery, Redis, or background task processing
• Experience deploying applications on AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar platforms
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to testing frameworks such as PyTest or Django Test Framework
