Django DRF Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Django DRF Developer with around 2 years of hands-on experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework (DRF) and experience building RESTful APIs consumed by web or mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Django and Django Rest Framework (DRF)

Write clean, reusable, and efficient Python code

Integrate backend services with front-end applications

Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control

Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL

Optimize application performance and ensure scalability

Debug, troubleshoot, and fix production issues

Write unit tests and ensure code quality and reliability

Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams

Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

2+ years of professional experience in Python and Django

Strong experience with Django Rest Framework (DRF)

Good understanding of RESTful API design principles

Experience with ORM, database schema design, and SQL queries

Knowledge of authentication methods (JWT, OAuth, token-based auth)

Familiarity with Git and version control workflows

Understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, and API security

Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix environments

Good to Have (Nice to Have)

Experience with Docker and containerization

Familiarity with Celery, Redis, or background jobs

Exposure to AWS / cloud platforms

Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Knowledge of frontend technologies (React, Angular, or Vue)
