Position Title: DM Accounts Manager (UK)

2. JOB PURPOSE

The Accounts Manager (UK) will lead and oversee the accounting, financial reporting, and UK tax compliance for S&M Investments and Unze London Ltd. This role ensures the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of all UK financial operations, supervises the accounting team, and supports strategic decision-making by providing key financial insights.

3. POSITION DIMENSIONS
- Oversees monthly closings, audits, and statutory filings
- Manages coordination with UK auditors and tax consultants

4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Financial Management & Accounting

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to UK accounting standards.
- Supervise preparation of ledgers, reconciliations, and journal entries in Sage.
- Approve and review financial transactions, ensuring compliance with policies and GAAP.
- Maintain integrity of financial data and ensure timely closings.

· Financial Reporting & Analysis

- Manage preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Provide analytical reports and financial insights to senior management for business decision-making.
- Review variance analysis, forecast trends, and recommend corrective measures.

· Audit & Compliance

- Lead coordination with external auditors for annual statutory audits.
- Ensure complete documentation and timely responses to audit queries.
- Oversee compliance with UK VAT, corporate tax, and other relevant filings, ensuring accuracy and punctual submission.

· Taxation (UK Focus)

- Supervise and review UK tax computations and submissions (VAT returns, corporation tax, etc.).
- Liaise with UK-based tax consultants for compliance and tax planning.
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and ensure regulatory adherence.

· Team Leadership & Process Improvement

- Supervise and mentor accounting staff handling UK accounts.
- Develop and implement accounting process improvements for better efficiency.
- Ensure proper workload management, training, and team performance reviews.

6. COMMUNICATION & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Internal: CFO, Senior Management, Accounts & Finance Team
External: UK Auditors, HMRC, Tax Consultants, Banks, and Suppliers

7. COMPETENCIES

- Strong command of Sage Accounting Software (MUST)
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
- Knowledge of UK GAAP and Tax Regulations
- Strategic thinking and decision-making ability
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Team management and performance oversight

8. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Qualification: ACCA / CA / CMA (preferred)
Experience: 6–8 years in accounting and finance, with at least 2–3 years in UK accounts & taxation management
Technical Skills: Sage, Excel, Google Sheets, and financial reporting systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs120,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
