DMAS - Programmer / Systems Analyst (EDI) 3 (798769)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced EDI Interface Systems Analyst to support Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) integrations. This role focuses on data exchange, interface coordination, and end-to-end testing across multiple vendors and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze data structures and provide data mapping guidance
• Manage and support EDI interfaces (file transfers, real-time & batch processing)
• Coordinate with business teams, technical teams, and external vendors
• Lead interface, trading partner, and end-to-end testing
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test data
• Monitor project timelines and communicate risks/issues
• Lead defect triage and ensure timely resolution
• Troubleshoot integration issues across systems
• Prepare test reports, metrics, and status updates for leadership

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in systems analysis, testing, or integration roles
• Strong experience with:
• EDI transactions
• Data mapping & data structures
• Interface workflows & system integrations
• SFTP / HTTPS file transfers
• Proven ability to:
• Lead testing efforts across multiple vendors
• Manage defects and triage sessions
• Work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Experience

• Healthcare claims systems (MMIS/MES)
• Experience with large-scale systems (e.g., Medicaid, insurance, claims processing)
• Background with organizations like Conduent is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile, SDLC, and DevOps practices

Work Requirements

• Must be based in the U.S. (no offshore work allowed)
• Local Richmond candidates preferred
• Non-local candidates must be willing to relocate before start
• Must be available for onsite work 3 days per week
