The Opportunity
We are seeking a diligent, organized, and efficient Docket Clerk to become an essential part of our growing team. In this highly visible role, you will be the organizational backbone of our legal practice, responsible for file and document management that is critical to our clients’ success. You will interact directly with clients and support our attorneys, ensuring our cases move forward smoothly and efficiently. This is a challenging and rewarding position with the potential for upward mobility and professional growth within the firm.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
File & Document Management:
- Receive and scan all incoming mail and court filings.
- Create, organize, and maintain physical and digital client files for new, open, and closed cases.
- File all correspondence and legal documents accurately in client folders.
- Update and maintain the firm's case management system with new information.
Case & Client Support:
- Prepare files for court hearings, ensuring all necessary documents are present and organized.
- Prepare filings for submission to various government entities.
- Draft form letters to clients regarding upcoming appointments, hearing dates, and case updates.
- Deliver documents to clients as needed.
Office Operations:
- Manage and organize all office supplies, maintaining a log of inventory.
- Handle daily mail runs to the Merrifield Post Office.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the legal team.
What You'll Bring (Qualifications)
Required:
- Minimum of a high school diploma.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Sharepoint, and Google Voice.

- Experience with a case management system is a plus.
