Dock/Warehouse Supervisor - ALB

Mobile Air Transport, Inc. provides expedited freight services and offers a regional distribution network for the forwarder, airline, and industrial community of the Northeast.

We are an LTL carrier offering air freight pickup, delivery, and line haul, LTL interstate and intrastate general commodity surface transportation, overnight direct airport-to-airport and door-to-door service, residential white glove delivery, warehousing, and distribution service, LCL ocean transportation, U.S. Customs bonded service and expedited delivery service, asset recovery, medical equipment delivery, packaging and crating, last-mile delivery and retail service.

The Position:
Second Shift 12 PM Start As a Dock/Warehouse Supervisor, you will act as a working supervisor overseeing the management of the overall dock operations.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Coordinate with Operations to ensure that all freight is properly staged for scheduled outgoing shipments
• Assist with the Pella/Larson shipments according to proper procedures
• Provide ongoing training and oversight of the dock personnel
• Ensure the efficient and timely loading and unloading of freight
• Reporting any maintenance issues of vehicles to operations for quick resolution
• Maintain warehouse environment in a clean, safe, and organized manner
• Act as a champion of our company values, demonstrating them
• Other duties as assigned

What you need to succeed at Mobile Air Transport:

• 1 year of verifiable experience
• 1 year of supervisory experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of DOT, FMCSR, TSA, OSHA and HAZMAT regulations

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 75 lbs. frequently
• The ability to pull up to 2000 lbs. with a pallet jack
• Reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
• Ability to read and interpret shipping labels.
