To assist Maarif Education with achieving its commitment to safeguarding the welfare and protection of all children and young people, the purpose of this role is to ensure quality medical care for students, staff and visitors to the school. Such care includes diagnosing, educating, and treating students and staff to ensure that they are fit to performance their duties inside the school. In addition, documenting patient's medical history, recommending specialists for patients, and educating students and staff.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in medical and surgery from recognized universities or equivalent and holding a Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) license.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the field.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing medical counseling & health education to student & staff

• Diagnosing and treating patients as well as maintaining patient confidentiality

• Cooperation with other medical institutions in the education sector

• Cooperating in health-related projects

• Compilation of reports, documents and statistics.

• Abiding by Code of Medical Ethics, Laws and Regulations of the MOH and departmental procedures.

• Exercising the highest possible standard of patient care according to the available resources.

• Using clinical skills and methods appropriate to a primary care setting to analyze the patient's complaints and establish a plan of action in his/her best interest.

• Assessing the health problems presented by patients including taking history, investigation and diagnosis as appropriate.

• Following up on patients with on-going or chronic illnesses.

• Performing other duties as assigned.
