Position: Document Controller
Job Purpose:
The Document Controller is responsible for managing and maintaining all project documentation in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. This role ensures accurate, timely, and secure handling of documents throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update document control systems and databases.
- Ensure proper classification, sorting, filing, and retrieval of documents.
- Control the issuance and distribution of documents to relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor document revisions and maintain version control.
- Ensure compliance with company document management procedures and industry standards.
- Support project teams by providing accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Archive documents according to retention policies.
- Generate reports on document status and progress when required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Degree in Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in document control or records management.
- Proficiency in document management software (e.g., SharePoint, Aconex, EDMS).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
