Document Controller

Zahr Freighters is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all company documents related to logistics and freight operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and organize physical and electronic documents systematically
• Prepare, review, and process shipping and logistics documentation
• Ensure proper filing of invoices, contracts, bills of lading, and customs documents
• Track document flow and ensure timely submission to relevant departments
• Coordinate with operations, accounts, and external agencies for document requirements
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive company records
• Assist in document audits and compliance checks
• Update records and maintain document control logs
• Ensure all documents are accurate and meet regulatory requirements

Requirements and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration or related field
• 2–3 years of experience as a Document Controller, preferably in logistics or freight forwarding
• Strong knowledge of documentation procedures and record-keeping systems
• Proficiency in MS Office and document management software
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills in English
