We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to manage and oversee documentation processes for construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure proper handling, storage, and retrieval of project documents, with a preference for candidates fluent in Arabic to support all types of communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Document Management
- Establish and maintain document control systems for construction projects.
- Receive, log, and distribute project documentation (drawings, contracts, permits, specifications).
- Ensure all documents are properly filed, indexed, and easily retrievable.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure documentation complies with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor document versions and revisions to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- Support audits and inspections by providing required documentation.
Coordination
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure timely submission and approval of documents.
- Translate or review Arabic documents when required to support project communication.
- Track document workflows and approvals to meet project deadlines.
Technology & Systems
- Utilize document management software (Bright ERP).
- Generate reports on document status and distribution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Document Controller in construction projects.
- Proficiency in document management systems and MS Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) preferred.
