Job Title: Document Controller

Department: Projects / Administration

Location: Dubai

Experience Required: 5–7 Years (Construction Industry)

Job Purpose:

To manage, control, and maintain all project and company documents in an organized, secure, and systematic manner—ensuring easy retrieval, compliance with company and client standards, and timely distribution to relevant stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Maintain and manage all incoming and outgoing project documents (both electronic and hard copies).
  2. Register, track, and update project documentation accurately in the document control system.
  3. Ensure proper formatting, numbering, and version control for all documents.
  4. Distribute relevant documents to project teams, consultants, and clients in line with project procedures.
  5. Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive project and company documentation.
  6. Archive completed project files systematically to enable easy access and reference.
  7. Prepare and maintain regular reports on document status, revisions, and pending approvals.
  8. Support project teams in document retrieval, compliance, and submission requirements.
  9. Ensure all documentation meets internal quality standards and client-specific requirements.
  10. Follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely submission and response to documentation.
