Document Controller - Kitchen Equipment Supply Industry

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

The role will primarily focus on managing and maintaining documentation related to kitchen equipment projects, supply contracts, and company records. The ideal candidate will ensure that all documents are properly filed, accessible, and comply with company standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, organize, and maintain all project and company documentation, including contracts, quotations, purchase orders, drawings, manuals, and approvals.
  • Prepare, submit, and track specification sheets, technical submittals, and related documents for consultant and client approvals.
  • Ensure that all documents are up-to-date, properly filed (hard and soft copies), and easily retrievable.
  • Control and track document flow for kitchen equipment projects, including vendor submissions, client approvals, and internal records.
  • Review documents for accuracy, formatting, and compliance with company and project standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, sales, procurement, and technical teams to ensure timely submission and receipt of documentation.
  • Maintain document control logs, registers, and databases.
  • Prepare transmittals, correspondence, and reports as required.
  • Support the preparation of project handover files, including O&M manuals and compliance certificates.
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive documents.
  • Assist in implementing and improving document management systems and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Document Controller, preferably within the fit-out, or kitchen equipment supply industry.
  • Experience in handling project-related documents (quotations, drawings, specification sheets, O&M manuals, purchase orders, etc.).

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of technical drawings, spec sheets, and equipment data is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
