About Your Team

You will work closely with production, design, and QA/QC teams to ensure that all documentation is properly controlled, accessible, and aligned with both project standards and internal procedures. You'll support internal audits, maintain filing systems, and help ensure the seamless flow of information that drives successful project execution.

Your Role

As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Data updates like submittal/Records status and keep all registers updated with Document status (Update Current Versions) update all registers.
• Distributing the submittals from sub-contractors for ALEMCO internal review as per the Document Distribution Matrix.
• Submitting the project submittals with transmittal cover to the consultant.
• Scanning and uploading the commented/approved submittals in the project document management system/Server.
• Preparing files with proper labelling (with traceability of records).
• Proper file Management & Housekeeping (ISO 9001 Management Protocol - Filing Reliability.
• Ability to use and operate document management system used (Aconex/Unifier etc.)
• Saving project documents/records in established Folder structure.
• Maintaining confidentiality around sensitive information on and terms of agreement.
• Preparing ad-hoc reports on projects as needed.
• Ensuring to professionally indent all original documents related to the projects such as Construction and drawings, Schematics, Statutory.
• Maintaining hard copy references and library of all documents and ensure easy retrieval.

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

• Minimum 0–2 years of experience in construction projects.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Document control systems and file management
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Attention to detail and confidentiality
• Basic understanding of joinery terminology, materials, and workflow

Desirable:

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality systems
• Experience with QA/QC documentation and inspection tools
• Ability to read joinery/architectural drawings
• Awareness of HSE standards in a factory environment
