Document Controller - Procore

ob Summary

The Document Controller is responsible for managing and maintaining all project documentation for fast-track interior fit-out projects, with primary responsibility on Procore. The role ensures accurate document control, version tracking, and seamless coordination between design, site, and subcontractor teams, while supporting integration with other document management platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage all project documents within Procore (drawings, RFIs, submittals, transmittals)
  • Maintain proper version control, document numbering, and revision tracking for fit-out drawings (architectural, MEP, joinery, finishes)
  • Upload, distribute, and track shop drawings, IFC drawings, and as-built documentation
  • Monitor and manage RFIs, material submittals, and approvals through Procore workflows
  • Coordinate with consultants, designers, subcontractors, and site teams for timely document updates
  • Support document workflows and approvals across platforms such as Oracle Aconex and Autodesk Docs when required
  • Assist in drawing reviews and markups using Bluebeam Revu
  • Maintain logs and registers (RFI log, submittal log, drawing register) using Microsoft Excel or Microsoft SharePoint
  • Ensure compliance with project document control procedures and audit requirements
  • Prepare and manage project close-out documentation, including O&M manuals and as-built drawings

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–6+ years of experience as a Document Controller in fit-out/interior projects
  • Strong hands-on experience with Procore (mandatory)
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Aconex or Autodesk Docs
  • Familiarity with drawing reviews using Bluebeam Revu
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and document tracking systems
  • Strong understanding of fit-out workflows, shop drawings, and material submittals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial, retail, hospitality, or office fit-out projects
  • Exposure to Microsoft SharePoint for internal document control
  • Knowledge of MEP coordination drawings and BIM-based documentation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
