Position Objective:
To ensure effective control, accuracy, and integrity of transmission project documentation by maintaining structured document management systems, supporting compliance requirements, and enabling efficient document flow between engineering, project, and contractor teams.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain document control systems for electronic and hard-copy project records.
- Receive, log, register, classify, and distribute incoming and outgoing documents.
- Manage document registers, transmittals, tracking logs, and revision control.
- Ensure proper review, approval, version control, and archiving of engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Control access and maintain confidentiality of sensitive project information.
- Coordinate with engineering, project, and contractor teams on document status and submissions.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation records.
- Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and document control standards.
- Identify and implement improvements to document control workflows.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in document control or project administration.
- Experience supporting engineering, construction, utility, or EPC projects preferred.
- Strong understanding of document control procedures and revision management.
- Experience handling technical drawings and engineering documentation.
- Familiarity with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
- Utility, infrastructure, or transmission project background is an advantage.
