Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller / Project Secretary who can join immediately. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working as a document controller in a construction company and be familiar with handling project documentation, coordination, and administrative support for site and office teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all project documents (drawings, contracts, reports, submittals, etc.)
- Ensure proper document control procedures are followed in line with company standards
- Track and update document logs, revisions, and approvals
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and subcontractors for document submissions and approvals
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and meeting minutes
- Maintain filing systems (electronic and hard copy)
- Assist project managers and site teams with administrative tasks
- Ensure timely distribution of documents to relevant stakeholders
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Document Controller in a construction company (mandatory)
- Minimum [2] years of relevant experience (2–5 years preferred)
- Immediate availability is required
- Strong knowledge of document control systems and processes
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
