Document Controller/Project Secretary

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller / Project Secretary who can join immediately. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working as a document controller in a construction company and be familiar with handling project documentation, coordination, and administrative support for site and office teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain all project documents (drawings, contracts, reports, submittals, etc.)
  • Ensure proper document control procedures are followed in line with company standards
  • Track and update document logs, revisions, and approvals
  • Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and subcontractors for document submissions and approvals
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and meeting minutes
  • Maintain filing systems (electronic and hard copy)
  • Assist project managers and site teams with administrative tasks
  • Ensure timely distribution of documents to relevant stakeholders
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller in a construction company (mandatory)
  • Minimum [2] years of relevant experience (2–5 years preferred)
  • Immediate availability is required
  • Strong knowledge of document control systems and processes
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
