Job Title: Document Scanner
The Document Scanner is responsible for converting physical paper documents into accurate, well-organized digital formats. This role ensures documents are scanned, indexed, verified for quality, and stored securely according to company standards and data protection policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare physical documents for scanning (remove staples, clips, repair torn pages).
- Scan documents using high-speed or flatbed scanners.
- Ensure scanned images are clear, complete, and properly aligned.
- Index, label, and organize scanned files according to naming conventions.
- Verify document accuracy and completeness after scanning.
- Upload digital files to document management systems or databases.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Perform basic quality control and re-scan documents when required.
- Maintain scanning equipment and report technical issues.
- Dispose of documents properly after scanning, following company policies.
