Documentation Specialist Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Remote Documentation Specialist to join our distributed team. This fully remote role offers flexible scheduling and focuses on creating, organizing, and maintaining accurate documentation across internal systems and platforms.

In this position, you will support operations by ensuring documents are clear, consistent, and easily accessible. Your work will help teams stay aligned by maintaining reliable, well-structured documentation and up-to-date records.

Responsibilities
  • Document Creation and Maintenance
    • Create and update SOPs, guides, and internal documents
    • Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all materials
    • Maintain version control and keep documents current
  • Documentation Organization
    • Manage digital filing systems and folder structures
    • Apply naming conventions and organize documents for easy access
    • Archive outdated files while maintaining current versions
  • Quality Assurance
    • Review documents for errors, gaps, and formatting issues
    • Ensure alignment with internal standards
  • Information Support
    • Collaborate with teams to gather and update documentation
    • Support knowledge bases and onboarding materials
    • Ensure content is clear and user-friendly
  • Compliance and Security
    • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality
    • Follow data protection and documentation policies
    • Maintain secure and audit-ready records
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong written communication and attention to detail
  • Experience with documentation or admin support (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
