Basic Qualifications
Minimum of five years of experience in Human Resource field
Thorough knowledge and understanding of military HR functions including but not limited to evaluations, awards, personnel actions, strength reporting and accountability
Final Top Secret clearance, eligible for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
Job Description
Prepare and coordinate military documents for personnel, generate and prepare common Army human resources forms, to include but not limited to evaluation, awards, request for personnel action, life insurance and entitlements beneficiary, and leave forms
Advise customer leadership of Strength Management, projections, coordination and Personnel Accountability; conduct routine Personnel Information System Maintenance and data entry
Perform strategic reviews and analysis of all HR functions and provide recommended improvements to systems; ensure proactive measures are followed to facilitate efficient and effective human resource operations
Forecast future personnel manning and human resource requirements, then develop recommended courses of action to address the customer’s concerns associated with these projections
Ensure all human resource/finance actions are processed within a timely manner and in accordance with governing regulations to the proper approval authority
Track and ensure all databases, records management systems and standard operation procedures are up to date and information is valid and current
Perform activities, to include but not limited to, typing, filing, routine procedural processing, maintaining records, coordinating and staffing documents and other non-specialized tasks; conduct quality control reviews of all official correspondence and documentation to ensure compliance with applicable Army and DOD regulations
Services include data entry, research and analysis, customer service, generating presentations in written, oral and visual forms, and briefing to command members
May be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
Taking and transcribing dictation and composing and preparing confidential correspondence, reports and other complex documents
Tracking and monitoring engagements
May be required to travel on military or civilian aircraft and serve at remote sites as required; potential requirement to travel up to 10% of the time (Note: Travel is not typical for this position)
