Dog Bather

Job description:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Dog Bather to join our team and meet the growing demand for grooming at our facility! As a bather, you will be responsible for providing bathing services for our groomers, ensuring the dog's comfort and well-being.

It is our mission to consistently offer a high-end dog grooming experience for our customers and their dogs.

The Dog Bather will provide exceptional care and full-service baths to our customer’s dogs. You will be assisting with various tasks within the company. This role will interact directly with our customers and their dogs.

• Provide a full-service bath for all sizes of dogs - duties include washing, drying, brushing, de-shed treatments
• Provide nail trims, ear cleanings, fresh breath foam
• Front desk operations
• Provide excellent customer service and a positive attitude
• Manage and book grooming appointments
• Various cleaning duties
• Ability to assist in other work-related areas as required

• Handle incident reports or any emergency situations

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bathing and/or Training: 1 year
• Previous animal care experience required
• Attention to detail
• Reliable and dependable
• Ability to handle dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments in a calm manner
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to regularly lift and move dogs weighing 70+ lbs
• Properly operate all grooming tools and equipment
• Learn and adapt quickly and efficiently
• Team oriented
• Organizational skills

• Weekdays 8am - 5pm
• Holidays OFF
