Join our vibrant team as a Dog Walker or Pooper Scooper in North Eastern Bergen County! If you have a passion for pets and love being active outdoors, on of our open roles is perfect for you. You’ll be responsible for providing exceptional care and companionship to dogs while ensuring their safety and well-being during walks. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a positive experience for both the pets and their owners, making tails wag with joy!

What you’ll do

• Take dogs on engaging walks, ensuring they receive ample exercise and stimulation.
• Monitor each dog's behavior and health during outings, reporting any concerns to pet owners.
• Provide basic training commands to reinforce good behavior while walking.
• Maintain a safe environment by using proper animal restraint techniques.
• Offer pet sitting services when needed, ensuring pets are cared for in their own home.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing updates on their furry friends’ activities.
• Assist with light grooming tasks as necessary to keep pets looking their best.
• Handle heavy lifting when transporting supplies or assisting with larger breeds.

Basic qualifications

• Experience in dog handling and animal care is essential.
• Strong customer service skills to engage positively with pet owners.
• Valid Drivers License & your own reliable transportation

Preferred qualifications

• Love for all animals and ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Excellant communication skills (verbal and written)
• Previous experience working with animals
