Dog Hiker / Pack Leader (Outdoor Adventure Role)

We’re hiring a Dog Hiker / Pack Leader to lead off-leash group hikes through scenic areas around Boston. This is a hands-on, active role where you’ll manage a group of dogs on structured hikes while ensuring safety, control, and a great experience for both pets and their owners.

What You’ll Do

• Pick up and safely transport a group of 5–7 dogs to local hiking trails
• Lead structured, off-leash group hikes (1.5–3 miles) in all weather conditions
• Manage pack behavior, ensuring safe and positive group dynamics
• Maintain full control of the group at all times—this is a leadership role in the field
• Clean and care for dogs after hikes (yes, there will be mud)
• Capture photos/videos for client updates
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members
• Follow all safety, handling, and company procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Strong love for dogs and the outdoors (all weather included)
• Confident, reliable, and able to lead a group—both dogs and routine
• Experience handling multiple dogs (off-leash experience is a big plus)
• Comfortable with different breeds, sizes, and temperaments
• Physically active: able to hike several miles daily and assist larger dogs if needed
• Valid MA driver’s license + clean driving record
• Access to a vehicle that can transport multiple dogs (equipment provided)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $750.00 - $1,500.00 per week
