Dog Sitter

Dog expert needed for newborn Labrador pups and two dogs.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert dog handling and care
• Assist with dog training activities beforehand to promote good behavior and socialization skills
• Post-birth monitoring
• Perform pet sitting duties while owner is occupied or unavailable
• Handle animals with patience and confidence
• Behavioral observations, and training progress
• Engage with pet owners to communicate updates on their dogs’ well-being and address any special needs or concerns

Skills

• Experience in dog care, newborn puppies and after care.
• Veterinary technician or assistant experience is highly desirable for understanding any needed medical protocols
• Ability to perform cleaning and care of dogs as needed and new born puppies
• Familiarity with animal care standards and pet sitting
