Part-Time Dog Walker & Pet Sitter

Pay: From $20/hour + monthly mileage stipend after a 3-month probationary period

Rocky’s Rascals is a growing dog walking and pet sitting company serving the Denver Metro area, and we’re looking for a dependable animal lover to join our team!

If you enjoy working independently, being outdoors, and spending your day with dogs (and cats!), this could be the perfect fit. Spend your day getting exercise, exploring local neighborhoods, and caring for some of Denver’s happiest pups.

Schedule

We are currently hiring for Tuesday and Thursday coverage btw 9am-4pm, with hours varying based on client schedules. alternating at least one SATURDAY/month. (Potential for additional days.) This job is strictly PART-TIME for up to 15 hours/week.

Most visits take place during the late morning through afternoon, though times may shift depending on daily bookings.

Pay & Perks

• Starting pay of $20/hour with paid training
• Monthly mileage stipend after a 3-month probationary period
• Paid from clock-in until your final walk of the day, provided travel time between visits is 30 minutes or less

What You’ll Do

• Walk 1–4 dogs per visit, ensuring their safety, exercise, and enjoyment
• Provide in-home pet care visits, which may include feeding, companionship, and basic care for both dogs and cats
• Occasionally assist with pet transportation (Pet Taxi) and maintain positive relationships with clients and their pets

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, managing their own route, and spending time with animals throughout the day.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation with valid car insurance, strong punctuality, and the ability to work independently
• Prior experience with dog walking or pet sitting, including comfort handling multiple dogs and large breeds
• A genuine love for animals and commitment to their safety and wellbeing
• Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions year-round
• Interest in growing with our team and committing to the role for at least 6 months

Hiring Process

Qualified applicants will complete a brief introductory call, followed by an in-person interview, reference checks, and a background check. New hires complete up to two weeks of paid training before taking on regular client visits.
