Dog Walker and Pet Sitter

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work 10am-2pm on some or all weekdays and/or cover evening drop-in shifts (8-9:30pm)
• Live within a 15-min driving distance of our core client base-Burr Ridge, Clarendon Hills, Darien, Downers Grove, Indian Head Park, Hinsdale, Westmont, Western Springs, Willowbrook
• Energetic and friendly demeanor
• This is not a seasonal position. We are looking to provide consistency for our clients and their pets.

Responsibilities

• Perform neighborhood dog walks on leash
• Complete scheduled drop-in visits, including providing food, water, medications, potty breaks, and playtime
• Communicate with the office and clients through the company app
• Deliver excellent, timely customer service
• Provide appropriate attention, exercise, and care to all dogs and cats (and sometimes other critters!)

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Willingness to complete Pet CPR/First Aid training
• Ability to maintain a fairly consistent weekly schedule (with flexibility and coverage provided when needed)
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Genuine passion for animals and commitment to compassionate care

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
