Dog Walker and Pet Sitter

Lucky Dog Walking and Boarding is seeking friendly dog walkers who can work part-time and full-time.

Dog walkers generally work one of three shifts: Mornings, afternoons, or evenings.

Dog walkers work around 4-8 hours daily in the same neighborhoods. Walkers usually walk the same dogs each day, forming a bond with each dog and building great rapport with each client.

**Dog walkers work closely with Lucky dog owner to ensure that every visit is successful.

Qualifications:

• MUST have a form of reliable transportation (Car, Bicycle, Motorcycle, skateboard etc.)
• Must own an iPhone or Android device in order to use GPS
• Must have experience working with dogs, pets or animals.
• Able to make a 6-month commitment.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Comfortable with all dog breeds and sizes.
• Excellent communication skills (Especially verbal)
• Excellent time management skills.
• Patience with behavioral issues of all kinds.
• Honest and reliable.
• Must be physically fit in order to lift dogs 50+ lbs, kneel, stand for long periods.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in ALL types of weather (Rain, Snow, Hot days)

Brooklyn routes are usually in these neighborhoods:Brooklyn Heights, Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Gowanus, Prospect Park, Kensington, Sunset Park, Williamsburg, Bushwick, Bed-Stuy, Crown Heights.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $500.00 - $800.00 per week
