Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Dog Walker and Pet Sitter to join our team in Savannah. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to provide top-tier pet care services, including dog walking, pet sitting, and animal handling. Duties

• Walk dogs of various sizes and temperaments while ensuring their safety and well-being through proper animal handling techniques.
• Provide attentive pet sitting services in clients’ homes, including feeding, administering medication if needed, and engaging pets with play and companionship.
• Perform animal restraint and grooming tasks to keep pets comfortable and healthy.
• Monitor pet behavior and health during visits, reporting any concerns or veterinary needs promptly.
• Maintain detailed records of each pet’s activities, feeding schedules, and health observations.
• Assist with basic dog training exercises to promote good behavior and obedience.
• Handle heavy lifting when necessary to transport supplies or assist with larger animals.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with dog training, animal handling, or veterinary support is highly desirable.
• Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and pet grooming skills are beneficial.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
• Ability to handle dogs safely and confidently of all sizes through proper handling practices.
• Experience with kennel management or heavy lifting is advantageous.
