Position Overview

As a Pet Care Specialist, you’ll provide in-home pet sitting, dog walking, or overnight care. You can choose the services that fit best with your schedule and comfort level — whether that’s dog walking, daytime/evening drop-ins, or overnight sitting.

This role is flexible, rewarding, and perfect for animal lovers looking for extra income.

Availability Requirements:
Applicants must be available for at least TWO of the following time frames (2–20 hours per week):

• Dog Walking (Midday): 10 AM – 3 PM
• Pet Sitting (Drop-Ins):
• Morning: 6 AM – 10 AM
• Early Evening: 3 PM – 7 PM
• Evening: 7 PM – 10 PM

⭐ Bonus if available for multiple time blocks

Overnight Sitting (Optional Bonus): 10 PM – 7 AM

Service Area

We proudly serve pets and families in:

New Albany, Johnstown, Westerville, Sunbury, Gahanna, Galena, Blacklick, and Alexandria.

Applicants must live within a 15-mile radius of these locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for pets including feeding, walking, playtime, cleaning up after pets, and administering medications (oral or topical, if needed)
• Follow detailed client instructions to ensure consistent care
• Communicate with clients through our scheduling app (Time To Pet), including updates and photos
• Ensure the safety and well-being of pets at all times

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must live within 15 miles of locations we service
• 1-year commitment required
• Love for animals is a must! Pet care experience is preferred but not required – training is provided
• Reliable transportation and a smartphone with a data plan
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and energy levels
• Willingness to undergo a background check

Compensation

• Drop-in visits & walks (10 AM – 3 PM): $18–$20 per hour
• Morning, afternoon, or evening drop-ins: $18–$20 per hour
• Overnight sitting (10 PM – 7 AM): $50–$60 flat rate
• Flexible scheduling – we work around your work/life schedule
