Responsibilities

• Safely walk dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring proper handling and control at all times
• Provide attentive pet sitting services, including feeding, administering medication, and engaging in playtime
• Maintain animal restraint techniques to ensure safety during walks and care routines
• Offer basic pet grooming tasks such as brushing and cleaning as needed
• Monitor pet behavior and health, reporting any concerns or veterinary needs promptly
• Assist with training exercises to promote good behavior and obedience in dogs
• Uphold excellent customer service standards by communicating effectively with pet owners and addressing their specific instructions

Experience

• Prior experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or animal care is highly preferred
• Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a strong plus
• Background in veterinary technician or assistant roles enhances your ability to recognize health issues
• Familiarity with animal restraint, grooming, kennel procedures, and heavy lifting ensures comprehensive care delivery
• Proven ability to handle animals safely while demonstrating patience and compassion
• Strong customer service skills to build trust with pet owners and provide peace of mind
• Experience working with diverse animals including dogs, cats, and possibly equine or other small animals is advantageous
