Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care for pets in the absence of their owners
- Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding feeding, exercise, and medication administration
- Ensure pets are safe, comfortable, and well-cared for at all times
- Walk dogs and engage in playtime activities to provide exercise and mental stimulation
- Clean litter boxes, cages, and other pet areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene
- Monitor pets for any signs of distress or illness and report any concerns to the pet owner
- Administer medications or treatments as instructed by the pet owner or veterinarian

Qualifications:

-Must be able to work weekends and holidays

-MUST be at least 21 years old

- MUST be able to pass a background check and drug test

-MUST live in Wentzville!!
- Previous experience in animal care or pet sitting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic animal behavior and handling techniques
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
- Familiarity with basic dog training commands and techniques is a plus
- Experience working in a veterinary clinic or as a veterinary technician is beneficial
- Ability to restrain animals when necessary for their safety or during grooming procedures

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
