Overview
We are seeking energetic and compassionate Dog Walkers and Pet Sitters to join our dynamic team in Pooler. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide personalized pet care, including dog walking, pet sitting, and animal handling. Responsibilities

• Take dogs on invigorating walks, ensuring they get proper exercise and mental stimulation
• Provide attentive pet sitting services in clients’ homes, maintaining routines and caring for pets’ needs
• Handle animals with gentle restraint and care, ensuring safety for both pets and yourself
• Administer basic pet care tasks such as feeding, administering medication, and grooming when needed
• Maintain clear communication with clients about their pets’ activities and well-being
• Assist with pet grooming and light kennel duties to keep animals comfortable and clean
• Support veterinary or veterinary technician staff with animal handling or restraint as required

Requirements

• Prior experience in pet sitting, dog handling, or animal care is highly preferred
• Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal restraint methods
• Experience working with veterinary professionals or in veterinary assistant roles is a plus
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely to assist with animal handling or equipment setup
• Strong customer service skills to build trust with pet owners and address their concerns
• Animal handling skills across various species including dogs and horses are advantageous
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation to travel between client locations

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
