Pay: $22-$25/Hour
Schedule: Daytime hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend/Evening opportunities (additional pay for off hours work)

Waggin’ Tails is a local, family-owned pet care company looking for a dependable, active, and caring person to join our team.
This is a mixed pet care role:
- About 65% dog walking and pet visits
- About 35% pet waste removal and yard service
You will spend most of your day walking dogs, caring for pets, and sending photo updates. You will also help keep customers’ yards clean, safe, and ready to enjoy.
This is a great fit for someone who loves dogs, enjoys working outdoors, and takes pride in doing a job the right way.
What You’ll Do:
- Dog Walking and Pet Care
- Walk dogs safely in their neighborhoods
- Follow each pet’s care instructions
- Refill water and provide approved treats
- Give dogs attention, exercise, and playtime
- Check leashes, doors, gates, and locks
- Take clear pet photos
- Send friendly visit updates to customers
- Report health, behavior, or property concerns
Pet Waste Removal
- Remove dog waste from residential yards
- Search yards carefully using a grid pattern
- Check around fences, trees, patios, decks, and play areas
- Take a photo of the gate before entering
- Make sure every gate is fully closed and secured
- Take a final gate-lock photo before leaving
- Sanitize tools, shoes, and equipment between stops
- Report aggressive dogs, damaged gates, or unsafe conditions

Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle
- Current auto insurance
- Smartphone with a working camera and data plan
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable daytime availability
- Closed-toe shoes or work boots
- Ability to safely lift and carry supplies
- Comfort working around dogs of different sizes and personalities
- Comfort picking up and handling pet waste
Previous dog walking, pet sitting, landscaping, cleaning, delivery, or route-work experience is helpful, but it is not required. We provide training for the right person.
