Dog Walker & Pet Sitter

Hey, you. Pet lover.

We see you, taking a break at work, scrolling through Indeed and thinking to yourself: "I'd really love to get paid to hang out with dogs and cats."

Guess what? Your dream job is real, and it's described right below.

We're looking for someone just like you.

//JON LOVES DOGS is seeking a Pet Sitter and Dog Walker who can keep their cool, hold their boundaries, and handle animals (and humans) with the confidence of someone who’s been in the trenches.

We’re the crew people call when the apps tap out. If you want to do this work professionally, here’s your chance.

Please note this position does not guarantee hours or income. It's best for someone looking for a bit of extra disposable income; not for someone who needs to pay their rent.

What You’ll Do

  • Walk dogs with intention, structure, and enrichment—not zombie-shuffle circles around the block while you stare at your phone
  • Be the one who shows up. Always

What We’re Looking For

  • Familiarity with dog and cat body language is required
  • Excellent communication skills and prompt responsiveness
  • Rock-solid reliability — ghosting and short-notice call-outs don’t fly here
  • A reliable vehicle + a driver’s license that’s in good standing
  • Longer term commitment; this isn't a seasonal position
  • Weekend availability would be the bees' knees

What You’ll Get

  • W2 employment - We don't abuse 1099 status here
  • Flexible scheduling with growth opportunities
  • Paid drive time + mileage reimbursement
  • Paid sick leave
  • Holiday pay
  • Wellness perks: audiobooks, yoga, foot massages—your body is your toolkit, keep it sharp
  • Oh, and dogs. Lots of really good dogs. (Cats, too)

How to Apply
Send your resume or message us like a human being who cares about the craft. Tell us the wild cases. The wins. The screw-ups that taught you things. The moments you realized this work matters. No corporate fluff and no LinkedIn roleplaying.

Equal Opportunity Statement
We don’t care what you look like, what creed you follow, or where you’re from. If you’re compassionate, competent, and dependable, you’re family here.
