Dog Walker/Pet Sitter

We are a pet-sitting company currently looking for an awesome, dependable, and motivated part-time dog walker and pet sitter! If you’re looking for a part-time gig, this may be the perfect fit (has the potential to go full-time if desired)! MAKE $200-$700 A WEEK!

JOB DETAILS/REQUIREMENTS (Please read before applying!)

• Be reliable and responsible, with good judgment when handling pets and navigating real-world situations. We are looking for dedicated pet caretakers that our clients can rely on!
• Quick to learn routines and routes, and comfortable adjusting on the go
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively without direct supervision
• Confident and calm when working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Be willing to work about 20 hours a week (flexible)
• Able to commit to many weekends/holidays
• Have some previous professional experience working with pets
• Be available for overnights (spending the night in client’s homes with pets) --IF YOU WANT TO.
• Live in the LA area and within 30 minutes to at least one of our service areas (Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Culver City, Century City, West LA, Santa Monica, Brentwood, Koreatown, Leimert Park, West Adams)
• Be okay with performing services in all of our service areas. (This position requires a lot of driving from appointment to appointment. You do not get compensated for driving time, but we aim for appointments to be near each other!)
• MUST HAVE: a car, a current driver's license, and car insurance.
• Comfortable with dogs in your car.
• Love animals AND people!
• Have a smartphone
• Must pass a criminal/background check
• Feel comfortable with cats and dogs, both BIG and small.

JOB DUTIES

• Dog walks (and occasional hikes, park visits, jogs, or runs)
• Cat sitting/visits
• Pet feeding
• Administration of oral medications
• Overnight in-home care for pets in client homes
• Uploading pictures to our portal for our social media and clients

COMPENSATION

• $19.50/hr DOE. (If you do a 30-minute appointment, it's $15, and if you do a 1-hour appointment, it's $19.50)
• You’d be an Independent Contractor (W-9/1099)
• You get paid every week!
