Sitter For Your Critters is looking for a dependable, animal-loving Pet Sitter/Dog Walker to join our professional team!

What the job looks like:

Our pet care team members make multiple visits throughout the day (morning, mid-day, dinnertime, and late evening) to care for pets in their homes. Visits may include:

• Dog walking and exercise
• Feeding and fresh water
• Playtime and companionship
• Administering medications (when needed)
• Cleaning up after pets
• Providing lots of love and attention
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ well-being and any notable incidents or concerns

Skills

• Must live in or very near Chico (within ~5 miles preferred)
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Comfortable caring for dogs, cats, and other animals
• Responsible, trustworthy, and able to work independently
• Must be extremely reliable—pets depend on you showing up on time, every time
• Able to walk multiple dogs per day in various weather conditions
• Comfortable handling dogs of different sizes and energy levels
• Able to stay active and on your feet throughout the day
• Excellent customer service skills to build trust with pet owners

Availability Needed

• Daily availability (Tuesdays & Thursdays are especially important)
• Availability for morning, mid-day, evening, and late-night visits
• Weekend and holiday availability
• Must be available during Thanksgiving week and Christmas week
