Important Requirement: Applicants must currently reside in ZIP code 80121, 80120, 80122 or an immediately adjacent ZIP code. Local candidates are preferred to ensure reliable availability, timely service, and familiarity with the area.

Duties

• Take dogs on daily walks, ensuring proper exercise and mental stimulation tailored to each pet’s needs
• Provide in-home pet sitting services, including feeding, administering medication, and overnight care when needed
• Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and animal handling skills
• Maintain clear communication with pet owners about their pets’ activities, behaviors, and well-being
• Provide updates, photos, and walk summaries after visits through the Daly Companion Pet Care app
• Must be available to accommodate clients who may require 3–4 visits per day, including morning, midday, evening, and occasional weekend visits
• Monitor animal health and behavior during visits; report any concerns or unusual symptoms promptly
• Perform outdoor work such as yard play sessions or walking in various environments to promote physical activity

Qualifications

• Must reside in ZIP code 80121, 80122, 80120 or a neighboring ZIP code
• Experience with dogs preferred but not required
• Comfortable handling dogs of various sizes and temperaments
• Reliable transportation and a smartphone
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to walk for extended periods in varying weather

Schedule:

• Flexible part-time hours
• Some clients may require multiple visits per day (up to 3–4 visits daily)
• Weekday availability is essential; weekend and holiday availability is a plus
• Additional hours may be available based on performance and demand
