Dog walker/pet sitter in Brooklyn

Do you love dogs (and cats) and being outside? We are hiring dog walkers/pet sitters in Brooklyn to add to our established team.

This is the perfect job for artists, musicians, actors, retirees, stay at home parents, or writers that need some stable income (10 to 25 hours per week), but the flexibility to pursue their other passions. The current position is for 3-5 days and approximately 10:30am-5pm.

Dog walking is a physical job (averaging 5-8 miles walking per day), so you will get in great shape. But, it’s also an outdoor job and you must be willing to work in all weather conditions - hot, humidity, rain, etc. The position also requires having your own bike and being comfortable and able to bike around Brooklyn neighborhoods to appointments. If you don’t have a bike and cannot bike, we cannot hire you.

ou must be very comfortable with all sizes and breeds of dogs, as well as their temperaments. Although we do not do pack walks, you must also be able to walk 2 or 3 dogs at a time, if needed.

This is a job that also requires punctuality, organizational skills and resourcefulness. You must be able to solve problems on your own, if necessary, and work independently during your route. Customer service skills are also necessary as you will be interacting with clients.
