Dog Walker/Pet Sitter weekly 12pm -5pm availability required

Whiskers to Tails Petsitting is looking for experienced, responsible, organized and caring adults to pet sit for our clients.

All applicants must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Live in Richfield, Edina, Bloomington, Southwest Minneapolis or within a 5 minute drive of Richfield - No Exceptions.
• Must be willing to walk dogs during the 11am - 5pm timeframe daily year round
• Comfortable with Large breed dogs
• Have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable and insured vehicle
• Possess a smart phone
• Have the ability to pass a comprehensive background check
• Be punctual, responsible, and honest
• Have consistent weekly (11am-5pm) availability
• Be open to working early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed.
• Overnight availability a plus
• Must want to work and be willing to start immediately after onboarding is complete
• Must be professional and reliable.

Ideal pet sitters will have these qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and spoken) for interaction with pet owners
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to commit to a schedule, manage your own schedule, and complete and follow through on assigned pet visits (if you thrive in a structured environment, this might not be the job for you)
• Ability and willingness to follow detailed instructions from clients
• Willingness to be outside in all kinds of weather
• Knowledge and experience caring for pets of all sizes and temperaments
• Be physically fit and capable of handling larger dog breeds
• Flexible schedule
