We are a local full service pet care company specializing in dog walking and pet sitting and we are growing quickly! We are looking for a few dog walkers to help out with an established routes in SOUTH EAST AUSTIN (Zip codes: 78741, 78747, 78744, 78745)

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work with dogs, self-manage, get their steps in, make a sustainable living without working unsustainable hours, be part of a growing local business that cares about your longevity. We offer regular raises, quarterly bonuses, tips, paid training, and employee discounts. This position is commission based but you would be an employee (w2) NOT a contractor (1099).

Example of our pay structure: Starting rate for a 30 minute walk pays $12, we allow walkers to consolidate and group walk when appropriate. So, if you have 4, 30 minute walks that can all be done at the same time you would make $48 in about an hour including pick up time of the dogs. Average take home of walkers working full routes is $600/week typically working 10am-4pm

*-Hands on PROFESSIONAL dog/animal experience is a preferred but attitude is everything! *

*-Must be ready to work*

*-Must be comfortable working in all kinds of weather

*-Must have reasonably open availability and must be willing to work holidays*

*-Willing to work some nights & weekends (for overnight sitting jobs and evening walks)*

*-Athletic and in good shape (requires lots of walking)*

*-Have a reliable means of transportation (car) to drive from location to location that you are willing to put dogs in*

*Working smart phone with service, we run off an app*

*-Have a good clean background, no thefts, felonies, etc. (we will be checking)*

*-Trustworthy, outgoing, and responsible (able to work without direct supervision)*

*-Must represent the company in a professional manner*

*-Have excellent communication skills*

*-Great time management skills*

*-Be familiar with Austin (you will be driving from house to house)*

*-Located near the route locations and within our near our service area*

Job Description: Pet care provider for various clients across Austin. You will be handling a walking route in Austin stopping at each client’s house and providing the required care per house (15min let out, 1hr walk, etc.). These pet care tasks include but are not limited to dog walking, feeding, client relations, bathing, house sitting, overnight pet care, cleaning after pets, updating clients
