This is a true hybrid role: part live photo shoot support, part post-production image preparation.

The experience on set is fast-paced, unscripted, and at times chaotic. It can shift quickly, requiring constant awareness, movement, and control. At the same time, it is highly personal and client-facing, with moments that become refined and intentional when everything comes together.

Off set, the role becomes quiet, precise, and detail-driven. After photo shoots, this position supports post-production creative work using software such as Adobe Photoshop and Capture One to prepare images for upcoming client presentations. This includes cropping, alignment, exposure consistency, file preparation, and maintaining studio standards with accuracy and care.

This tends to be a strong fit for someone who is equally comfortable handling dogs and young children on set, then sitting at a computer in scheduled post-production blocks to organize and refine images with precision. Candidates who are only interested in working with animals, and not in the computer-based image preparation side of the role, will likely not find this position to be the right fit.

Our day-to-day operations are based out of Harleysville, with regularly scheduled photo shoots at our West Lawn studio (typically one to two days per week). To be successful in this role, you must be fully comfortable working at both locations as part of a single, integrated team.

We are currently in peak season and are looking for someone who can support both photo shoots and post-production workflow at least four days per week, with availability extending into the late afternoon and early evening. Saturday availability is required.

This is not a photographer role. It is a collaborative position within a creative team shaping the client experience.

We are looking for someone with strong client-facing experience who understands how to guide people, read a room, and contribute to a refined, controlled, and elevated experience.

Your Presence on Set

Post-Production Responsibilities

Prepare images for client presentations with precision and consistency
Perform cropping, alignment, and exposure adjustments using Photoshop and Capture One
Maintain clean, organized file systems aligned with studio standards
Support presentation readiness so each client experience flows seamlessly

What This Role Requires

Prior client-facing experience where presence and communication mattered
Comfort taking control of a room without creating tension
Confidence handling dogs and keeping them engaged and safe
Ability to direct children and guide families in real time
Strong visual instincts for positioning and presentation
Working knowledge of Photoshop and Capture One
Decisive, aware, and able to move quickly without losing composure
Comfort being fully “on” throughout the day

Requirements

Comfortable being on your feet and moving throughout the day
Comfortable working closely with clients, children, and animals
Saturday availability is required
Must be able to work at both Harleysville and West Lawn locations
A realistic 45–60 minute commute is strongly preferred
