Domestic Electrician Supervisor

Rate: £200–£250 per day (CIS / Self-Employed)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Domestic Electrical Supervisor to oversee and actively work on multiple residential projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who can manage between 2–4 domestic jobs simultaneously while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You will be responsible for coordinating electricians, liaising with clients, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage 2–4 domestic electrical projects concurrently
• Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and fault finding as required
• Lead and support a small team of electricians and subcontractors
• Ensure all work complies with current regulations and standards (e.g., BS 7671)
• Plan workloads, materials, and schedules across multiple sites
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks
• Liaise with clients, builders, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery
• Maintain accurate documentation, including test certificates and reports
• Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in domestic electrical work
• Proven experience supervising or leading projects
• Strong knowledge of current wiring regulations
• Ability to manage multiple sites and prioritise workload effectively
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Valid ECS/CSCS card (preferred)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (required)
• Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent preferred)
• Full UK driving licence
