Duties

• Oversee daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to company standards
• Supervise and motivate team members, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a positive work environment
• Manage food preparation processes, ensuring quality, freshness, and adherence to safety protocols
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Control inventory levels by monitoring stock, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant
• Assist with hiring, interviewing, and onboarding new staff members to build a strong team
• Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service and resolving any guest concerns promptly
• Support kitchen management tasks including food production, food handling, and kitchen organization
• Participate in budgeting and cost control efforts to optimize restaurant profitability

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and quick service or fast food restaurant environments
• Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant settings
• Skilled in inventory control, food safety practices, and food handling procedures
• Ability to train staff effectively on food production, customer service, and safety standards
• Demonstrated competence in cash handling and managing shift operations seamlessly
• Experience with restaurant management software and kitchen management tools
• Exceptional communication skills for interviewing candidates and developing team members
• Knowledge of budgeting principles within the food industry to support financial goals
