Dot Net Developer

Location : OMAN

Job Purpose:

To support the enhancement and seamless integration of the bank’s Corporate Internet Banking (CIB) platform with the Oracle Banking Virtual Account Management (OBVAM) and Oracle Banking Digital Experience (OBDX) systems. The role will primarily focus on back-end development using .NET technologies to enable secure and efficient payment routing, transaction processing, and system interoperability across the bank's IT landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Digital Banking, Core Banking, and Middleware teams to develop and integrate CIB functionalities with OBVAM and OBDX platforms.
• Enhance the current CIB architecture to support complex payment routing, virtual account operations, transaction enrichment, and straight-through processing (STP).
• Develop and maintain secure APIs and web services for transaction handling and payment processing using .NET technologies.
• Implement CIB enhancements that enable dynamic user entitlements, multi-level approval workflows, bulk upload features, and corporate dashboard modules.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and security compliance of developed modules as per banking IT standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in system design, technical documentation, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Collaborate with vendor technical teams to customize and integrate OBVAM and OBDX components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues between the CIB platform and Oracle modules, Core Banking (e.g., Flex cube), and other third-party systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Languages & Frameworks

• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC/Core, .NET Framework

APIs & Services

• RESTful/SOAP web services, JSON, XML

Integration Experience

• Proven experience in integrating with OBVAM, OBDX, or Oracle digital banking

Databases

• SQL Server, Oracle DB, PL/SQL

Tools & DevOps

• Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, JIRA

Security

• OAuth2, JWT, encryption practices, PCI-DSS/ISO27001 awareness

Banking Domain

• Familiarity with payment systems (RTGS/SWIFT/NBO-ACH), virtual accounts, CIB

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking, stakeholder communication, and cross-team collaboration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a bank or financial institution working on transaction banking or digital channels.
• Knowledge of Oracle Banking APIs, middleware platforms (e.g., Oracle SOA Suite), and API gateways.
• Experience with front-end frameworks (Angular, React) is a plus.
• .Net core 6+; C#.net , Asp.net
• Rest API, SOAP webservices, .Net Windows Services,
• SQL Server, PL/SQL
• JSON, JavaScript, Rest Services,
• Experienced in Branch Teller systems (is an advantage)
• SSRS Reports, Crystal Reports
• Banking domain experience
• Must have 3 years (minimum) experience in .net technologies & banking domain
• Full stack development experience
• Experienced in payment systems such as ACH, WPS, RTGS and Batch Processing
