About the role

As a Dot Net Full Stack Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems and enterprise applications. You will be a valued member of the Technology & Engineering team and work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders, including developers, QA teams, and IT professionals, to deliver high-performance solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using MongoDB, C#.Net, ASP, and Core .NET.
  • Implement and manage ServiceNow ITSM solutions.
  • Ensure software meets performance, quality, and security standards.
  • Utilize Splunk, Dynatrace, and other monitoring tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Identify and resolve software issues and bugs promptly.
  • Collaborate with project managers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.
  • Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Respond to and resolve tickets and requests in ServiceNow and JIRA.
  • Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions.
  • Work closely with other developers, QA teams, and IT staff to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software solutions.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Propose and implement improvements to existing systems and processes.

What you need to have to be considered

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in MongoDB, C#.Net, ASP, and Core .NET.
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and ServiceNow.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies.
  • Experience with Azure and GCP cloud platforms.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $60,000 to $93,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
