Description:

We are currently seeking a warm, experienced, and highly attentive nanny for a loving family welcoming twin baby girls, currently 6 months old. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nurturing caregiver who is confident working with infants and, ideally, has experience with multiples. The ideal candidate will provide calm, hands-on care and support early development through responsive caregiving, including feeding, soothing, naps, and engaging, age-appropriate interaction.

This family is returning to Pittsburgh after living abroad and is excited to build a supportive, engaging home environment for their daughters. They value a caregiver who brings both professionalism and warmth into the home and can partner closely with them as first-time parents navigating life with twins.

About the Role:
This is a full-time nanny position focused on the care of twin infant girls. The schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility as needed. Care will take place in a home-based setting. ***The family has not yet secured a new home but is actively searching for a centrally located, walkable neighborhood in Pittsburgh. The caregiver will be responsible for all aspects of infant care, including feeding, diapering, naps, and supporting developmental milestones through play, reading, sensory activities, and outdoor walks when appropriate. The role also includes maintaining a clean and organized infant environment, managing baby laundry, and assisting with bottle and dish cleaning related to the children.

Responsibilities:

• Full care for twin infant girls, including feeding, diapering, naps, and daily routines
• Supporting developmental milestones through play, reading, singing, and sensory activities
• Engaging in age-appropriate interaction to encourage early learning and exploration
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for the children
• Baby laundry, bottle washing, and organization of infant items
• Light tidying related to the children’s spaces and daily care
• Communicating regularly with parents about routines, milestones, and needs
• Supporting consistency and structure as the twins grow and develop

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced with infants (experience with twins is a strong plus)
• Warm, patient, and highly nurturing
• Confident and attentive, with strong safety awareness
• Reliable, communicative, and professional
• Comfortable partnering closely with first-time parents
• CPR/First Aid certification required
• Strong references required
• Passionate about infant development and engaged caregiving
