Position: Structural Steel Draughtsman

We are a leading steel fabrication company in the UAE, delivering high-quality steel structures for industrial, commercial, and residential projects. We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Draughtsman with a strong technical background and proven experience in steel fabrication drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings for structural steel works.
• Develop GA (General Arrangement) drawings, sections, and connection details based on engineering inputs.
• Review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, fabrication, and erection requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams for accuracy and timely delivery.
• Update and revise drawings as per client/consultant comments and site requirements.
• Maintain drawing records and documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structural Draughtsman in the steel fabrication industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Tekla knowledge is an added advantage).
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, welding symbols, and construction details.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
