Draftsman

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Draftsman with experience in firefighting and fire protection systems to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of fire safety layouts and standards, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, coordination layouts, and as-built drawings for fire protection systems (sprinklers, hydrants, pumps, etc.)
• Ensure drawings comply with NFPA, QCDD, and project-specific standards
• Coordinate with design engineers, site teams, and project managers to ensure drawing accuracy and timely delivery
• Revise drawings based on site conditions, client feedback, and engineering updates
• Maintain organized drawing logs and documentation for submission and approvals

Requirements:

• Diploma or certification in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of drafting experience in a firefighting or fire protection company
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or other BIM tools is a plus
• Familiarity with QCDD standards and fire protection layouts
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Can join immediately
• Transferrable QID/Visa
