Draftsman

A. Brief Job Description:

1) Creating technical drawings as per the specifications and calculations provided.

2) Using CAD software and modeling tools to create rough sketches as well as detailed drawings.

3) Communicating with the Engineers and Architects to determine the technical requirements.

4) Submitting the drafts to the Engineering team for review

5) Ensuring that the final designs meet the industry standards and building regulations.

6) Examining and noting any errors in the technical designs

7) Calculating weight limitations and other structural dimensions before beginning work.

8) Preparing manuals describing product features, operations, and maintenance.

9) Creating the e-maps, smart maps, zone-based maps and drafts based on the feedback provided from Corporate Engineering & Health Facilities Management and Corporate Security Department.

B. Education, Training and Certifications Required:

1) Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture or civil

2) Advance level certification in AutoCAD (2D and 3D)

C. Background Experience Required:

1) Minimum of 5-years’ experience in a similar role.

2) Knowledge of AutoCAD and document updating

3) Excellent technical skills

4) MMUP/UPDA Certification

D. Selection Criteria for Employment:

Candidates will be selected based on the following:

1) Passing Technical test (Theory and Practical).

2) Passing a face-to-face interview

3) Verification of AutoCAD certification

MANDATORY TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS:
1) AutoCad (2D and 3D)

2) MS Visio

Max Estimated Pay - 5000 QAR
